The home is in southside near the police precinct, walking distance to everything on campus. Low crime & pleasant. 2 bed 1.5 bath & a garage. Street parking also available. Owner is really cool & was my neighbor 2 years. I think they want about 1200, but it's a big enough space you could comfortably have a roommate.

Thanks! When I was a student in Birmingham, I lived with two other roommates and we each paid $500/month + maybe $120-$150 in utilities. So less than $700 each month. Utilities are a bit more in the summer with AC running, but I’ve been able to pull off months around the $600-700USD mark.
