May 17, 2024 · I can find no function in the mail.virginmedia.com service that allows me to move or export emails. Right clicking on a selected email (or emails) presents me with a menu that offers (among other actions) to move or copy the selected items - but this move or copy takes place only within mail.virginmedia.com.

If you are moving mail into the outlook.com account, you should use Exchange account type - IMAP doesn't always sync everything up. As a backup, I would export the VM account to a pst file - file > Open & Export > Import and Export > Export to a file > choose PST.

Aug 10, 2020 · Thank you for the reply. I have added the gmail account to my apple mail and dragged 2 of the folders I want to transfer to the gmail tree in my apple mail. These folders show in my gmail account but there are no email in the gmail account although they are in the apple mail account folders in the gmail tree. see the 2 attached screenshots
