Oct 24, 2019 · Buried treasure can often take a while to find but with this trick, you can dig it up much quicker than usual. First, you need to find a buried treasure map and follow it to the X as you normally would. Then you need to make it so your player marker on the map is as close to the center of the X as possible which may require going in water.
May 26, 2021 · As you may have heard from Java players or the Wiki, buried treasure always spawns at "chunk coordinate 9 on both the X and Z axes." For those of us who play Bedrock, and therefore don't have access to all that handy debug info, that basically means an odd multiple of 8 (chunks are 16 blocks wide, and chunk coordinates start at 1 instead of 0).
Aug 29, 2021 · Locate where you are in the world using the coordinates and click on the appropriate treasure icon on the Chunkbase locator to show the exact coordinates. It's the best way to find Treasure because I've dug up entire islands before and found nothing, then used this app and dug down under solid blocks and there it bloody is.
May 20, 2022 · The treasure chest is almost always buried by some material. Most of the time the chest generates buried in a beach, so it has a sand or gravel block covering it. Sometimes, if generated on the side of an underwater hill, it spawns with stone blocks covering it.

Aug 4, 2021 · In future if you get this, I would just chuck on cheats for a bit (go into open to LAN in options and the cheats option should be there), and type the command /locate buried_treasure. It can seem kinda dodge, but if you're to the point where you're basically 100% sure that there's no chest and you just want like, closure or whatever, it's handy.
May 18, 2023 · Chests – 4 generic (2x2 in rampart chest rooms, guaranteed) + 6 generic (in the main area) + 2 treasure chests (double treasure cache) = 12 (10 generic + 2 treasure chests) Route. I highly recommend starting from the back of the ramparts. Look for a lowest single gold block in a wall (on the left side of a rampart).
Dec 1, 2020 · Wish it worked consistently in Bedrock. Sometimes the treasure marked on the map fails to generate for terrain reasons. And if you don't break the chest, the next map you find might lead to the same place. So annoying.
“The basic functions of a buried treasure explorer map are similar to that of the other two. However, instead of showing the structure icon on the map, it shows a red X instead. The buried treasure structure is located on the same X and Z coordinates as the middle of the X (the player marker may need to be aligned with the bottom of the middle 2 by 2 pixel square of the X).
