    1. Connect your Fire TV Stick to power

    Connect the power cord to the USB plug on your Fire TV stick. Then, connect the other end into the power adapter and plug the power adapter into a wall socket or a power strip. If your TV has a USB port, you can try connecting the power cord there instead. However, most TV USB ports don’t have enough power for the Firestick.
