Sep 13, 2021 · So I'm attempting to use my mac as a desktop, with ethernet and hdmi (to an external display) connected to a dongle. I also have my keyboard and mouse connected. My keyboard has this "scroll lock" button which I've always pressed to turn the backlights on the keyboard. Without the backlights, the characters on the buttons are incredibly feint.
