If your release isnt on iTunes try Discogs, Bandcamp, Amazon or just google generally. When MusicBrainz doesn't have what I am looking for, or doesn't have hi-res cover arts, I tend to go to Apple Music's website and extract hi-res covers by modifying the resource URL accordingly (e.g. replace '500x500' with '1500x1500' in the image URL).

Just as a PSA, don’t ever use the built in macOS/Music feature to get album art. It will F your shit up. The default source for iTunes when ripping CD’s is the company “Gracenote” https://www.gracenote.com. Google name of album with iTunes at the end and you will get the HQ image they use.
It currently works with: Albums: i.e. Pray For The Wicked by Panic! At the Disco. All you need to do is paste an Apple Music URL into the box above like the items I've linked to above. Whilst this tool should work for most artwork, there may be a few outliers that don't work if they are deeply personalised and thus not available publicly.
May 20, 2022 · The Album Art Downloader application for Windows can get the high-resolution images that iTunes and Apple Music use. Also the Ben Dodson web site has web tools to get the high-res artwork from iTunes and Apple Music. And may be better at finding some albums than the AlbumArtDownloader.
To make it show Right click -album info - artwork tab- add artwork choose pic you saved now it embedded it’.
