Dec 27, 2020 · Battlezone Redux 98 isn't so bright, it's darker, different physics, different play styles really, but imo, it has a better atmosphere. This was appreciated :) You're welcome! They're similar but different at the same time. Some players prefer the original, while others prefer Combat Commander.

Apr 21, 2016 · BATTLEZONE 98 REDUX VERDICT. There is a ton of things to like about this game and especially this version of it. Everything returns intact and looks much cleaner and sharper than ever. The seamless blending of direct tank combat and real-time strategy elements comes off very well, only hindered by an A.I. with pathing issues.
