But the winter is definitely one of the best times to visit Breckenridge with November through April being the peak ski season seeing 300 inches of snowfall on average.

May 31, 2024 · One of the best things to do in Breckenridge during winter is ride the BreckConnect Gondola. And yes, non-skiers can ride, and it’s free. Free gondolas are not the norm in Colorado resort towns, so this definitely something to take advantage of. A ride on the gondola is a unique experience, providing incredible views of the surrounding area.
