I'd recommend at least post SCal. earliest you should go is pre-scal however i don't recommend you use anything until you beat her because pretty much any post ml fargos weapon outclasses every calamity weapon up until end-game. just get the fargo soul DLC they balanced everything out including the accessories.
I know that calamity is fully compatible with both Fargo’s soul mod and Fargo’s mutant mod. Most of the things added in soul mod are absurdly expensive and in my opinion work well with calamity.
Apr 2, 2022 · Calamity has much more non-boss content to offer, whereas Fargo's mod reduces grinding and adds various quality-of-life changes. If you have completed both or just generally have your opinion, I'd be glad to hear which one you think offers the better experience in regards to difficulty vs. fun.
Dec 23, 2020 · Fargo's Mutant Mod is more of a QoL type mod, while its DLC, Fargo's Soul Mod, seems to be more like Calamity; making the game much harder with Eternity Mode and all the complex accessories and items attached.
Nov 19, 2023 · Fargo feels more vanilla while Calamity fits whatever it can. Fargo stays similar to Vanilla difficulty while Calamity goes a bit further with how hard it can get. So the answer is get Stars Above.
