In addition to having anime and manga that span decades in length, Dragon Ball has also had many movies released since the early days of the franchise. Naturally, some of those movies are better than others, and this is how all the movies stack up against each other.
- Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure (1988) - 7.0. This third film is based on the original Dragon Ball but unlike other films, Mystical Adventure does not exist in the main canon.
- Dragon Ball Z: The Return Of Cooler (1992) - 7.1. After making quite a splash in Cooler's Revenge, the titular villain was brought back to cause more problems.
- Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13 (1992) - 7.1. Taking place after Goku is saved from his heart virus and Androids 17 and 18 are killed, Super Android 13 rises.
- Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge (1991) - 7.2. Frieza was already bad enough but imagine his family: that's where Cooler's Revenge comes in, showcasing Frieza's older brother named Cooler.

- Best: The Return Of Cooler. As the first direct sequel in the movie franchise, Return of Cooler starts as a giant planet attaches itself to Planet Namek and starts to drain its energy.
- Worst: Dragonball Evolution. Hollywood getting their hands on rights to foreign franchises is almost never a good thing, and Dragonball Evolution is a prime example.
- Best: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan. When Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan first came out it was instantly the coolest thing in the world for Dragon Ball fans.
- Worst: Bio-Broly. Not satisfied with one unnecessary movie about Broly in Second Coming, the creators of Dragon Ball came up with what is possibly their worst idea ever: Bio-Broly.
