I can see a few people still struggling with finding good enough minis to ride their infernal creations through the wastelands so I’m putting together a small guide to help them with finding the correct crew. This is intended as a starting point and to give you an idea what’s out there.
I know it's not exactly a standard board-game but I feel like Gaslands already has a lot of buzz and it's easily the easiest minis game for those who are traditionally boardgamers to get into. It's a post-apocalyptic wargame played with kit-bashed hotwheels, and making the minis is almost as fun as playing the game!

We’re in a relatively niche hobby, playing an indie game system, and then within that gaming community there’s the minority of people who go so far as to add figures to their cars. Printing is going to be a much easier and cheaper route.
