Hi all, this may be a bit specific but would love any insights from parents who have gone through decisions around Toronto elementary schools. My wife and I have a 1 year old and live around Queen West, our home public elementary school is currently Givins/Shaw. We have some time to make decisions but never too early to start planning.
Givins/Shaw Public School serves students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 and is at the hub of a vibrant and diverse community in the west end of downtown Toronto. Although the buildings have changed over time, there has been a Toronto school on our site for more than 150 years and we are proud of our educational heritage.

Principal's Message. Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Dear Givins/Shaw Community: Welcome to what we hope is a safe, healthy, engaging, fun, and open school year.
