   Kentville is alright. It's a small town but nice. The surrounding area, the Annapolis valley is paradise. An hour to Halifax. New Minas the neighbouring town is where most stuff is located. Peaceful, beautiful, great food/vineyards, saltwater air. The valley has it all!

   Because of this house prices will be higher, but the likelihood of property appreciation will be as well. Lunenburg is nice but gets VERY quiet in the winter, whereas Wolfville is a bit more of a year-round town. It’s probably a great place to live though if you work remotely.

   Is Kentville a good place to live if you're homeless?

   • Kentville. It gets a bad wrap becuase the homeless outreach centres are there, so yes there is more homeless, mentally ill and drug addicted out publically visible than other parts of the valley, but I've never had a problem or felt unsafe anywhere in town at any time of day.
