Dec 8, 2020 · Is Little Women a good book? Little Women is an excellent and easy-to-read classic book that has delighted generations of readers. It’s the classic Civil War-era story of four very different, but very creative, sisters on their home front with their endearing mother, anticipating their father’s homecoming from the War.
Little Women is one of those books I think I read when I was a little too old (late teens) for it. I have never seen the appeal. You might be interested to know that the author, Louisa May Alcott, hated the novel herself.
