Feb 1, 2021 · Luke Skywalker's journey couldn't have come to a more poignant, triumphant, and overall fitting end than in The Last Jedi; Mark Hamill's superb performance as a more weary, cynical version of the hero from the original Star Wars trilogy mixed with Rian Johnson's focus on inward-looking characterization made for an excellent reconstruction of the myth behind Luke.
