Jan 3, 2024 · Minecraft: Story Mode was removed from all game stores on June 25, 2019 due to the bankruptcy and sale of Telltale Games. Although Telltale Games has been revived under new management, the rights to certain games did not necessarily revert to them. In the case of Minecraft: Story Mode, the rights reverted to Mojang Studios.
It has come to my attention that the Minecraft: Story Mode discs will not work because they can not connect to Telltale's (now removed) servers to download the episodes. You may see the game available on the Xbox 360 marketplace for $100 but DO NOT PURCHASE THE GAME.
