The Overworld is the main dimension in Minecraft and the one the player will spawn into on world creation. It is by far the easiest of the dimensions to live, being the one designed best for living in. It is also the only place you can use a bed, without it exploding.
- Forest. Loads of wood. Loads of passive mobs for food. Beehives and bees can spawn here. Great for starting out in the game. Cons: No villages or other overground structures usually spawn here.
- Plains. Lots of passive mobs. Easy visibility. Villages and pillager outposts spawn regularly. Horses spawn here. Easy for building. Cons: Wood is sparse but close by.
- Old Growth Taiga. Visually unique biome. Loads of trees and passive mobs. Spawns mossy cobblestone and. Cons: Rare to find. Building requires clearing tall trees.
- Mushroom Fields. No hostile mobs, ever. Mooshrooms can be milked for infinite mushroom stew. Unique terrain. Giant mushrooms provide extra food. Cons

- Mushroom biome. This is one of the most unique biomes where users will find uncommon blocks and mobs. The best part about mushroom biomes is that no hostile mob can spawn here.
- Flatlands. Flatlands that generate in the plains biome are great for creating wide and tall structures. They offer open land, and the grass and leaves on the trees generated in this biome are among the brightest in the game.
- Jungle. As the jungle biome has many trees, gamers will never run out of jungle logs and planks. They can create beautiful treehouses on the trees, and if they make them atop, mobs will not be able to enter their base as they do not spawn on leaves.
- Islands. Small islands in the ocean are some of the most fun places to create a base. However, Minecrafters should only build here if they have been playing in their survival world for a long time and have obtained items like elytra and shulker boxes.
What you do is build a nice base near your spawn point. Then connect it to bases in other biomes through a portal fast travel network of safe cobblestone hallways in the nether. Then it's like having one huuuuuuge base that extends through every biome type. Need sand, go to your beach biome base.
