- The graphics in Ninja Golf aren't the best on the Atari 7800, but it sure ranks high as one of the better looking games. The boss battle is in a 3-D perspective, which is done pretty well for an 8-bit system. The rest of the game follows a 2-D engine with a few good animations here and there.

Ninja Golf is a 1990 beat 'em up/golf video game developed by BlueSky Software and published by Atari Corporation for the Atari 7800. Gameplay consists of the ninja player character hitting a golf ball at the beginning of each hole then fighting various enemies in side-scrolling sections to reach it.
The holy grail of the 7800 library is Tank Command. Ninja Golf is surprisingly fun. Midnight mutants is also fun, although frustrating. I thought the galaga port was pretty good considering the time released. Certainly better than the NES version.
