I got a scholarship from the school and even received a good financial aid package. Financially, they treated me the best. With all my other options going down the drain due to one reason or another, I'm leaning towards pitt. I would like to know how Pittsburgh is as a city, how the school community is, is it a racist school, etc.
About the student body: Pitt isn’t a super nerdy tech school, nor a super artsy liberal arts college, and it’s not really even a big frat school like Alabama. For better or worse, I’d say the average student here is just “normal” - which makes sense, since Pitt is a large, flagship public state school.
It would greatly benefit Pitt, as we would no longer have to rely on sharing a field with the Steelers and it would provide a space that is truly a home to Pitt Football. Although we don't have our own football stadium, we do have amazing athletics, professors, and vibe. Pitt should be highly considered for future college applicants'.
