Also, the whole "Parent transitions" thing was actually tackled by a Family Guy clone from Canada, called "Fuhgett About It", which was basically "Family Guy but with mobsters". From what I understand, though, the episode, while still problematic, tackled the issue much better than the Family Guy episode this post is about.
