Got a job in San Bruno, worth it to live in SF? About me: New grad, 20-something, engaged. Budget would be around 1400-1500/mo (I would sublet a room in a apt). Various shuttle stops placed throughout the city, commute would be anywhere from 30m-1hr based on where I decide to live.
I’d say stay on the peninsula, close to his job in San Bruno, and close to a Bart station (not too close if the Bart is above ground). The Bart will get you North into SF for a job. If you have to drive South for a job, try to take the 280 (the 101 will be really congested).
