Shane was truly professional in repairing my Omega watch, he examined my watch as soon as he got it and addressed problems (parts, etc) quickly enough and showed, explained to me very understandably. Overhaul didn't take long and even with two parts replaced, the price was so good and reasonable.

Shane replaced the mainspring in the Rolex and cleaned and serviced both watches for a fraction of the cost of other repair shops. He also did it in one day - I dropped off the watches on Saturday at about noon and picked them up on Sunday at about noon.

I'm looking for opinions on either of these watch repair shops. Ashton seems to be better known but is located in another city so I would have to ship whereas Shane is local but not as well known. Do you have experience with either? I'd like to know what you thought.
