At this point, it is safe to assume that most GG players have agreed that Sol is the best character in the game. An offensive powerhouse with literally no weaknesses, can pretty much destroy any characters health bars with only 1-2 touches.

not broken but definitely op. His normals are just good and he has a great tool for pretty much everything (seriously his 5k is 3f, an anti air and a combo starter) and pretty favorable risk reward. The only characters that come close for me are chipp and millia, especially chipp because he has fast + safe offense and a meterless dp.
Let's be real, real honest. How unfair on the scale of not at all to OP as heck is Sol Badguy? In my opinion he is the only real S+ character and everybody else is after him, at least for now.
His combos take almost no skill to use, and he has two extremely good supers to choose from. His only weakness is that he can't attack at long range. But that's not much of a weakness when it's so incredibly easy to move into mid or close range with very little risk.

Sol's main goal is to end combos with Clean Hit H Volcanic Viper as it deals immense damage, has huge corner carry, and leads into strong okizeme.
Oct 5, 2024 · Sol is a character who likes to get up close and personal, but does not sacrifice a balanced toolkit to do so. Sol has tricky special moves which help him get in, and a suite of normals which excel at setting up frame traps and strike/throw mix-ups.
