    • The Game Is Far From Being Realistic. One of the most fun aspects of Wolfenstein: The New Order is the variety of Nazi things that are thrown at you. The game does not go to an over-the-top degree that throws players off the experience, but it is not really trying to be a grounded approach to the genre either.
    • Weapon Upgrades Are More Important Than Perks. For those who do not get to do all the chores from the Perks system, there is no reason to panic. Although things like being able to carry more ammo are great, the Weapon Upgrades are the one thing that changes the combat the most.
    • It Has Old-School First-Person Shooter Characteristics. Most First-Person Shooters of our time ignore health points, armor, and other aspects of old games.
    • The Skills System Is Very Different. There are no skill points, experience, or other similar methods to earn new abilities. Instead, the game has a bunch of requirements to unlock boots called Combat Perks.
