   • The Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street films have completely different sensibilities -- the villains and their styles are completely antithetical to each other, but somehow it works. And it does a pretty damn good job of balancing those tones (though Jason gets almost all of the kills in the film). The set up is actually pretty clever.
