I consider level 100 epic+ baby yeti and level 100 legendary blue whale. There are three stats that need to be taken into account: strength, defense, health. To visualize which is better, I calculated the strength value that a player needs to reach in order for the baby yeti to be better than the blue whale, as a function of health and defense with no pet.

I’m using yeti sword btw. As mage you dont have much strength, so whale is a better choice. baby yeti won’t help you for mage damage; blue whale is TECHNICALLY better for mage if you have trouble surviving. also if yeti sword damage scales off of mana/intel then you want sheep pet.

trans_pog. •. MVP+. •. 3 yr. ago. As a tank, you go for ehp, this usually means going for reforges that boost your hp, while berserkers usually go for strength. With tanks having higher hp, this means blue whale is better. With berserkers going for high strength, the yeti pet compliments this.
