Given they’re still developing core features, like armor plates, the game is in alpha. Alpha - key gameplay functionality is implemented. Beta - Games functionality is included and optimised, and all content is included. But this may contain bugs and implementation errors. Tarkov having new features implemented makes it an Alpha.
