   Part 2 sucks because Andy Muschietti is a hack, doesn't understand subtlety, and definitely is not familiar with the source material. Sucks that guy gets all the credit when Fukunaga's responsibile for the charm people love about the first one. Funny fact: they wanted this movie to have an Oscars campaign.

   Don't get me wrong I dislike it chapter 2, but it is superior to the 2nd half of the original. I love the story of the kids, but the adults is way too boring for me. Chapter 1 was incredible imo. Chapter 2 was an absolute let down.

   • IT chapter 2 isn't a very good movie, but itisn't terrible either. I am a big fan of both the book and the mini-series, so I may have gone in a bit biased. But where I really liked chapter 1, I just didn't feel it for chapter 2. The acting is great, but somehow I wasn't invested in any of the characters. They were just that: characters.

   • Although Stephen King's IT novel is more of back and forth from adult to kid and back and forth from adult to kid and so on, IT : Chapter 2 should be looked at like it's the 2nd half of one big story, which is exactly what it is rather than a sequel. It's really not a sequel.

   • But man, in a world totally full of dog shit horror films, I felt like IT 2 was a breath of fresh air. But maybe that's because it's actually just a drama with horror elements. Idk There needs to be a cut without the flashbacks or a 1&2 cut together as one movie. I found it pretty good.. Until pennywise showed its true form
