I do like how Survival mode is seamless in the game. No extra menus, calibrations, etc. Other survival mods have too much “clutter” for me personally. All the survival mods, including survival mode, make the game a lot slower or tedious as you put it. However, I’ve been playing since 2011 so I’m really in no rush.

If you're new to Skyrim maybe try without it and then enable it, as you can do so at any time. It also depends on your lifestyle, imo. I work full time and therefore when I play Skyrim in the little spare time I have left I like to complete quests and explore freely, so Survival Mode as of now imposes too many time consuming (although realistic, I liked it) mechanics for the kind of player I am.
I've recently bought skyrim legendary edition, when I first started I thought it would be cool to play on survival mode, I'm at the jorgan windcaller part and it's starting to get repetitive, I'm not completely sick of it yet but I'm afraid that I will eventually get sick of it and stop playing, so is it worth it to continue playing in survival mode?
Oct 10, 2017 · I think the Survival Mode is a good idea if you want a major challenge. Though I sugest getting a few mods to go with it like campfire, leather backpack, bandolier just to name a few. Hell no, then it makes survival pointless. Reduce max carry weight just to cheat and put some carry weight accessory on to mitigate it.
