This movie isn't the hill I want to die on, but people tend to give it a harder time than I think it deserves. It's not a serious movie- it's not even a movie with its roots in anything resembling reality. It's a farce. None of the characters are "right." The Kranks want to go on vacation and skip the hustle and bustle.

Kids say(24 ): The characters are unpleasant, the jokes are unfunny, and the sentiment is hypocritical -- so this movie is about as unappetizing as last year's figgy pudding. There are useless digressions about a robber and a mystery man who seems to know everyone. The fact that Blair has a boyfriend who is a foreigner is supposed to be funny.

Permalink. 10/10. classic. northwesternhans 9 November 2021. Its a classic. Its funny, the actors are great. Christmas with the Kranks is a film to watch with the family. The humor is beyond although it checking some cliches but still its a lovely Christmas film for the family and friends.
