FOW was only there because the flash player was so small, it's not a mechanic and deca should've realized that while making unity. Fog of war needs to be gone. Fog of war only existed in the first place because it stopped lag in flash player. Theres alot less to load if you can only see 5 tiles in front of you.
If you are willing to use a laptop. There are ways to see the map on your screen through the fog of war. WindowWatcher shows a copy of the map on your screen. And by using a black layer with a tiny bit of transparency (253/255), while also boosting the gamma of your laptop screen.

Jan 3, 2024 · After you play a match, click the fog button in the bottom right corner several times until you can see both sides of the board. Then, you can review what opening they utilized and set a trap if you get paired against them next. This is also why you should change up your opening repertoire in Fog of War.

I understand not seeing enemies or npcs still there but I have to do it all on the map screen. I'd like to scroll around and see an area I remembered wanting to explore again ...
