Jan 17, 2021 · The VCS is pretty stable. As stable as it could ever be like under a real Mac (I know because I was a real Mac owner - have been using G4s and G5s for years). The only thing missing now on the VCS so far is the sound and GPU acceleration - but otherwise it is considered stable and usable (for macOS).
Running macOS on non-mac hardware is always tricky. It can probably work, but just be aware that it's not officially supported and that it may have specific hardware requirements that the VCS doesn't meet.
Atari 8Bit and Mac - Atari800MacX. Atari800MacX now supports Synchronized Sound, a Graphical Debugger, VAPI and PRO images, Copy and Paste from the emulator, Configuration files, and a new Hard Disk emulation scheme. There have been other enhancments and bug fixes as well, see below.

Jan 21, 2012 · Both the emulated Atari's keys and Hatari's own keyboard shortcuts. For latter you need to know the SDL keycode that your Mac keyboard generates for the key you want to map and for former you need to know also the Atari keycode to which you want to map it.
