Housed on separate discs, the movie is rendered in its original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.40:1 widescreen with respective 1080p/AVC 2D and 1080p/MVC 3D High Definition encodes, both of which look glorious in their own right.
Feb 22, 2022 · Mad Max, The Road Warrior and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome were all shot on 35 mm film and have all benefitted from a new scan and clean up to produce a 4K DI, from which these new UHD discs are sourced. Mad Max Fury Road was shot digitally and was finished as a 2K DI and is exactly the same disc as has been previously released.

Mar 10, 2015 · If I were to rank the Mad Max films in order of my preference it would be 1st Mad Max 2nd Mad Max - Fury Road 3rd Mad Max 2 - The Road Warrior 4th Mad Max 3 - Beyond the Thunderdome Do agree with some of the posters though, Mad Max seemed almost a secondary character in Fury Road. The influences of DC, which was his first love, reach deep into the films that he has made and, especially, the visual style and vocabulary that he employs.

Dec 13, 2020 · Mad Max: Fury Road may have reignited a franchise which was known for its post-apocalyptic vehicular mayhem, but the series actually started before the apocalypse, with a no-budget indie flick that director George Miller put together using a largely undiscovered cast, a real biker gang and unsurprisingly raw, practical stunts. And it's genius.
