Here is a section of the piece I was working on. I was able to get three systems on the front page, but couldn't get more than two on pages 2-3.

Logic Pro 8, Digital Performer, Loaded MAC Tower, two screens, a whole bag of sample libraries including Full GPO, some VSL, True Strike 1 and 2, and now Xsample Chamber Instruments and I have a long ways to go to understand how us all of this.... but quite familiar with Finale!
I doubt that you will find any that have all the unnecessary measure numbers that you have. In an orchestral score I usually place the measure numbers centered in a non-italicized font under the the bottom staff. In a really, really big score it may be helpful to have them under the bottom staff of another grouping of instruments as well.

I just finished the orchestral materials for two works, one a concerto, one a "little symphony", and in BOTH I found hairpins attached to erroneous staves while preparing the orchestral parts. It's not exactly like we haven't been BEGGING MakeMusic to add this feature for years now.
