If you want to use your real name as a channel name, you have to be prepared to turn it into a brand, put it on a T-shirt, turn it into a slogan and so on. If it's something you not only are comfortable with, but would look and sound great, sure, go for it.
I know several silver playbutton channels who changed their name with no real issue. Your subs will still be subscribed, and the algorithm won't care. Unless you have a lot of people searching specifically foe your old channel name, it shouldn't make any difference at all.
