Dec 31, 2023 · I have the 2600+, the gamestation pro, and a flashback 8 gold. My least favorite is the flashback. The Flashback 8 is an older Android-based unit, the first with hdmi.
There is a premium one that includes Activision games which you will want. Atari Flashback 8 Gold "Activision Edition" is the one I have and it is very good. If you want one that will look great next to your other mini consoles, get the Flashback X or the “50th Anniversary”.

Or if you want something mini-consoleish, the latest Atari Flashback costs less than the 2600+ but bundles 110 games.

May 1, 2009 · You'll get the best of both worlds, Atari 2600 compatibility and Atari 7800 games as a bonus. The 7800 has some pretty good games for it, like Ninja Golf, Midnight Mutants, Ms. Pac-Man (by the guys who programmed the arcade game), and so on.
If you get a Flashback I recommend the Flashback 2. It uses a console on a chip design and not emulation, it uses real controllers, and can be modded to at a cart slot.
