People generally do not want to listen to someone else pontificate beliefs. Study logic and deconstruct arguments from texts in order to get practice. The more practice you get, the faster you are able to understand arguments and detect fallacies when hearing them. Take some philosophy courses and be active in class.
Still, I would be annoyed if people turn every beer / elevator talk into a philosophical discussion. For me at least, philosophical discussion and small talk requires two different mindsets,energy and moods. Like after a long day work, I just want something brainless. Small talk/ stupid joke/ gossips, just something to unwired and laugh about.

Aforementioned math friends will jump on anything remotely metaphysical I mention, love talking about necessity and philosophy of logic/language, but I'm pretty sure would kill me if I brought up political theory or epistemology. Another friend that studies medicine likes philosophy of science and mind, but could care less about the rest.
