If you've got plenty of time to play on the regular, you can make do with standard, if you work have family or other interests you'll appreciate the boost to progression higher tiers provide, but for starting out I'd go with Standard, you might not like the game and you won't know how to leverage the benefits without understanding how the game works or what it's about.
With a standard edition you get more challenges and you learn how to play tetriz very well. For containers you can traid in beta container from peacekeeper lvl2 if you want the epsilon container complete all punisher quests from prapor. Kappa container is ofcourse better than Eod but good luck grinding it.
