To me, the Jalen Hurts rule needs an adjustment: The ‘Jalen Hurts rule’ SHOULD BE that if a QB can be a significant rushing threat, they will be able to run a catered offense, and within that catered offense, we can confidently assume 1-2 or more seasons of top-10 QB play as a reasonable floor IF THEY CAN COMPETENTLY AVOID NEGATIVE PLAYS, INTERCEPTIONS, SACKS, ETC.

That doesn’t mean that waiting at quarterback is the right answer, as the latest crop of elite fantasy quarterbacks continues to set the scoring bar higher, lowering the value of replacement-level production that is always available in the late rounds or on the waiver wire.
