   • Normally, this is a good point, but where the Atari 2600+ separates itself from what’s being offered by other mini console manufacturers is that this plays games with actual Atari 2600 cartridges. That’s right, there’s no pre-loaded games on this thing at all. To my surprise there’s not even any kind of menu interface or anything.

   • Here they have added robot voices, diagonal images, and improved the graphics. If you have old game cartridges for the Atari 2600 or 7800, they can work in this modern version as well. Atari has a list of compatible games here. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get ahold of any original games while we had the console in for testing.
