Siddique Mamathu (born 1 October 1962), known mononymously as Siddique, is an Indian actor and producer, who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. Along with appearing in over 350 Malayalam films, he has also acted in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language films.
Siddique Ismail (1956-2023) was a Malayalam cinema director, producer, screenwriter and actor. He made comedies like Bodyguard, Kaavalan and Big Brother, and won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value.

Aug 9, 2023 · For the last 4 weeks, Siddique has been dithering between life and death. He was admitted to Amrita Hospital on July 10th when his liver condition worsened. He was suffering from nonalcoholic liver cirrhosis. Doctors suggested a liver transplant.
Aug 8, 2023 · Ace director Siddique Ismail passed away on Tuesday in Kochi. He was admitted to Amrita Hospital in Kochi last month following a liver ailment. On Monday afternoon, Siddique experienced a heart attack and was subsequently placed on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) support.
