Nov 10, 2022 · After my last Canon EOS 5D Mk II I bought the R6 one week before the news about the R6 Mk II. I returned the brand new and unused R6 and upgrade to R6 Mk II (backorder). Hopefully a better delivery than the R7. Also bought a 2nd hand EOS 7D Mk II for 500 Euro and a brand-new grip for 79 Euro.

Feb 22, 2023 · The EOS R6 II is a very capable camera that ticks a lot of boxes. The original R6 was a solid camera, too; in fact, we recommended it in our buying guide as the best camera for around $2000 for a long time, so the fact that the R6 II improves in some critical areas while adding useful new tools is a very good sign.
