The Presidio is at the northern tip of San Francisco near the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s surprisingly easy to get here by bus, shuttle, bike, or car. - Crissy Field Marsh and Beach. Crissy Field was originally a marshland that took in the tidal overflow from the bay. It was filled in for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition and was later used as an airfield for the military (hence the name).
- Tunnel Tops Park. This beautiful new city park sits on top of the tunnels which provide car access from the Marina to the Golden Gate Bridge. The park is located just south of the Crissy Field March.
