   • As for Calamity's future - this mod is *not* dead. Far from it. There's still a hefty amount of developers left and we're already working on planning out the 1.4.4 port. Full disclosure, 1.4.4 TML Beta is not out yet so we're in the ideas and tweaks phase at the moment, for example writing down exceptions for shimmer decrafting!

   • Solution: Hold shift while tModLoader is opening to skip loading mods. Disable Calamity on the mods list and close the game. After reopening the game, open the mods list and enable Calamity, then reload mods. You should be able to play. I got a similar crash error and following these instructions fixed it for me.
