The issue with Pokemon Empyrean is that even though so many mechanisms are interesting the "major ones" are just plain boring. Cards, Platinum Pokemon and GP all are just straight up stat increase. There was no need to make 3 versions of card. Just the 1.25 times stat increase would have been enough and GP is just IV's but worse.
This game looks great, I love the overworks tilesets, the Pokemon look great, etc. I'm very excited to play this. Pokemon as a company sacrifices so much creativity and freedom for a uniform and lucrative experience, and the fan game community does so much work for unique, diverse, and creative adventures because it's their passion.

However, the overall experience is brought down massively by the lackluster story and some strange design choices. Thank you very much for reading, and I hope you all enjoyed. 2.

RPG Maker games do not use a base ROM. They use an entirely separate program to generate a game file that mimics a Pokemon game. To most people, this distinction doesn’t really matter. You still get a Pokemon game. And in truth, most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between Pokemon Empyrean and Pokemon Unbound just by playing.

Learning about the new types, looking at the new Pokémon forms, learning about the new ones, following the story, everything is such a pleasant experience. Pokémon Empyrean is such a recommended game if you like to play fandom games.
