    • The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. Merchant. Any toddler who loves made up creatures will get a kick out of The Gruffalo. The story follows a clever mouse who invents a silly "gruffalo" to stay safe in the woods.
    • If You Give a Mouse a Cookie Big Book by Laura Joffe Numeroff. Merchant. As one of the best toddler books around, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie should live in every child's bedroom.
    • In My Heart: A Book of Feelings by Jo Witek. Merchant. For toddlers learning about emotions, this book about feeling shines. Happiness, anger, sadness and bravery are just a few feelings surrounded by beautifully illustrated artwork.
    • The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf. Merchant. This Amazon Teacher's Pick packs in a lot of heart into such a classic story. The Story of Ferdinand follows a bull who'd rather smell the flowers (literally) than be like all the other bulls.
    • Classic Toddler Books. These “classics” are all books that have stood the test of time. You might have gotten them (or given them!) at a baby shower, but that’s just because they’ve been beloved by so many people.
