HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL RULES – Section 1 Updated June 2019 1.1 GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1.1 The CAA shall adopt the current edition of the National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS) Baseball Rules Book. These rules shall govern unless noted below.
STANDARD LEAGUE RULES. Starter: 12 outs, may reenter 1 time. All others: 9 outs no reentry. 9 in field, 7 minimum to start and finish, otherwise a forfeit. 1-0 score recorded. Scrimmage game is played in place of regulation game. BBCOR (drop 3). Wood bats are allowed.
