The SST deals with appeals and issues relating to the Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Canada Pension Plan Disability (CPP-D), Old Age Security (OAS), and other federal benefits.

Dec 21, 2022 · The new Social Security Tribunal Regulations, 2022 come into force on the date on which the enabling legislative changes made through BIA 2021, No. 1 come into force, or if they are registered later, on the date of registration. The SST’s Rules of Procedure also come into force on the same day.
