  1. Dec 2, 2023 · Like John Stamos Mullet said, standard joysticks that are 2600 compatible work. I personally tested 3 standard joysticks from Atari Flashback consoles, they all work. I also tested the Hyperkin Trooper and Ranger controllers, they work too.

These have a similar form factor to the CX40, and feature two face buttons for left or right-handed play. NOTE: Those two buttons do not function with 2-button Atari 7800 games.
