The Department of Chemistry offers five main degree programs: B.Sc. Honours in Chemistry (20 credit) The BSc (Hons.) in Chemistry, which is accredited by the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC), is the most intensive program of study in chemistry, with the most demanding requirements for subject credits and grades.
The tri-campus Graduate Department of Chemistry offers programs of study leading to the Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. Our programs are research-based and require full-time attendance. Students may join a research lab at Scarborough, Mississauga or St. George campus.
It is a four-year honours program with chemistry requirements at all four levels. Options in the program are dictated by the choice of the Minor (see below for available choices). These degree programs are suitable for graduate studies in Chemistry or in an interdisciplinary area overlapping the Major and Minor subject areas.
